Circuit de Mettet - Jules Tacheny

World RX of Benelux

World RX of Benelux

The World Rallycross Championship is returning to the Jules Tacheny circuit in Mettet after a five-year absence. The circuit is known for its demanding and twisty layout, providing an exceptional experience for both drivers and audience. The upcoming race weekend promises to be intense with some of the best current rallycross drivers competing.

The Mettet circuit has played a key role in the development of the sport, with its combination of dirt and asphalt providing ideal conditions for high-speed racing with plenty of contact and drifting. The most prestigious actors of the RX top category such as Sebastien Loeb, Petter Solberg or even the late Ken Block, have raced on this track in the past.

The return of WRX to Mettet promises to be electric! Indeed, the world championship is turning towards the future and reserving its competition for 100% electric cars. With power units of 500 kW, equivalent to 680 horsepower, 0-100 km/h is achieved in just 1.8 seconds. Lightning-fast performance guaranteed!

Don’t miss the return of the world’s top rallycross drivers for the 5th round of the 2023 WRX championship, at the Jules Tacheny Circuit.
